What the Tech? set out to answer this question in early 2024. We are pretty confident we DIDN’T fully answer it, but we learned a lot about what it will take to get there.
This website is designed to accelerate a community- and youth-led vision for public interest AI in cities across the country and the world with three different uses:

Meet the organizations behind What The Tech? that partnered to investigate the promises, perils, and ethical considerations around AI in Boston.
The Boston Area Research Initiative (BARI) pursues civic research to advance social, economic, and environmental justice, in collaboration with the communities of Greater Boston. A major goal is democratize data and emergent technologies and how they shape our rapidly evolving world.

Tech Goes Home (TGH) is a local nonprofit that is dedicated to confronting digital exclusion and promotion of tech equity
